Jack and Erin

When I first began taking photos, I had little interest in photographing people. The geometry of architecture and light was what attracted me.

Gradually,I became interested in “street photography” where people began appearing in my photographs but from a safe distance ( for me ). I was only spying on them and felt quite comfortable keeping that distance. However, over time, I learned that I could apply the same style in portraiture and capture raw, real emotion. And I love it! Tippy toe kisses and scrunchy noses - like I am not even there!

Jack and Erin are a fantastic couple and a lot of fun to photograph. We took some lovely lakeside photos for them to cherish and remember the lakehouse by.
